SMOKY LAKE GARBAGE COLLECTION REMINDER
Let’s keep Smoky Lake clean and make collection day run smoothly!
BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR GARBAGE OUT, REMEMBER:
7:00 AM — BE READY!
Garbage must be out by 7:00 a.m. on collection day.
BAG IT. CONTAIN IT.
All garbage must be properly bagged or contained.
50 POUNDS MAXIMUM
No individual bag or container may exceed 50 pounds.
5 BAGS OR CONTAINERS MAXIMUM
A maximum of 5 bags or containers will be collected.
BRANCHES? BUNDLE THEM!
Branches must be tightly bundled, securely wrapped, and cut to a maximum length of 4 feet.
NOT ACCEPTED FOR COLLECTION:
- Auto batteries
- Metal, including steel and aluminum
- Concrete
- Furniture or mattresses
- Appliances and electronics, including TVs, microwaves and refrigerators
- Toxic materials, including oil, paint and aerosol cans
- Tires
- Herbicides and pesticides
PLEASE NOTE: The contractor reserves the right to refuse any garbage that does not meet these requirements.
