Development Permits

The applicant must complete the development permit application and a tentative plan, accompanied by the associated fee. Depending on the scope of the project, additional information may be required. The Development Officer will review and process applications. The Municipal Government Act states a decision must be made on an application within forty (40) days after receipt and acceptance of a completed application. 

Typically a permitted use Development Permit will be processed and notice of decision given within one week to two weeks. This can be longer if a variance or discretionary use approval is required.
