When do I need a Development Permit?
The following are some examples of when a development permit is required:
- New construction
- Renovations - depending on the scope of work
- Accessory Building - shed and detached garage
- Accessory Dwelling Unit - secondary suite, garage suite, in-law suite
- Home Occupation
- Change of Use for Commercial business
- Signs
- Sea Can (excluding Residential zoned property)
- In-ground swimming pools
- Fences
