Community Volunteer Income Tax Service

CRA-trained volunteers helps eligible taxpayers who do not know how to prepare their income tax and benefit returns, and who have low to modest income and a simple tax situation. This is a free service that runs throughout March and April.

Smoky Lake Museum

Smoky Lake Museum is located at the intersection of Hwy 28 and 50th St. The building used to be the Victoria School which dates back to one of the oldest school districts in the area. The Museum features a diverse collection of artifacts and antiques, including historic farm machinery. Pakan Ferry is situated in front of the Museum and was restored in 1999. More recent restorations have been added to preserve this unique treasure.

Saturdays & Sundays 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. 

We are also open during the Smoky Lake Pumpkin Fair on the first Saturday in October.
