The Town of Smoky Lake is pleased to announce the appointment of Marshall Morton as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective October 1, 2026.

Marshall is a forward-thinking leader with a proven record of advancing public works initiatives through strategic planning, effective communication, and strong operational oversight. His experience includes business and operations analysis, operating and capital budget management, facilities maintenance, transportation planning, staff scheduling, contract oversight, recreation management, asset management, and water resources management.

Throughout his career, Marshall has focused on building strong community relationships and ensuring the efficient delivery of essential public services. His commitment to innovation, accountability, and operational excellence will support the Town's priorities and continued growth.
