Town of Smoky Lake Announces Resignation of Chief Administrative Officer

The Town of Smoky Lake announces that Molly Fyten has resigned from her position as

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective September 30, 2026.

Council has accepted Ms. Fyten’s resignation and has begun the process of ensuring

continuity of administrative operations. Arrangements are being made to maintain

municipal services and support ongoing projects and organizational responsibilities

during the transition period.

The Town remains committed to the continued delivery of municipal programs and

services to residents, businesses, and stakeholders throughout this transition.
